Born in the charming city of Winnipeg MB, right in the middle of Canada, Alix Loiselle grew up learning to love food. This passion for food was handed down to him by his strong family traditions. Through the years, it became apparent that baking and cooking came easy to him and that it could possible lead to a career.
After studying at Louis Riel Arts and Technology Centre in Winnipeg, he moved to Ottawa where he obtained his Millennial Advanced Pastry Diploma from Le Cordon Bleu Paris.
After coming back home for a year and working for the Frenchway Cafe on Academy, he moved to Lake Louise Alberta and worked at the renowned Chateau Lake Louise. From there he then moved to Montreal. There he worked in a small pastry shop and then a large chain of bakeries before being part of the opening of Daniel Boulud's restaurant inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
Having gathered a lot from his experiences across Canada, he thought it best to return to his home town of Winnipeg to be closer to friends and family. Alix is fast gaining a reputation and keeping very busy in his home town.
